Added caps from two new interviews. One from a Factory Girl interview .

And from a interview for Death Defying Acts

These two interviews plus one more have been added to the Media section and I've added one brand spanking new HQ scan from Roadshow magazine.

Traitor News: Looks Traitor will be released sometime this summer according to the following article titled "Hollywood has broad summer range behind the blockbusters." The movie is listed along with several others on the list to play this summer but with no exact date. [Read More]

The Road News: If you happen to see Viggo Mortensen on the streets of Erie this week, it's not a mirage. The "Lord of the Rings" star and Academy Award-nominated actor will be at Presque Isle State Park on Thursday, shooting critical scenes for the major movie production of "The Road." Mortensen, as well as actor Guy Pearce, who starred in "L.A. Confidential" and "Memento," will be here with a film crew of 75 to 100 members, said Andrew Ullman, location manager for "The Road." The shoot at Presque Isle is scheduled to last about six days, not including weekends, wrapping up on May 1. The cast and crew will stay in hotels in the Erie area throughout filming before heading to Conneaut Lake Park for a two-day shoot on May 2 and 3......[Read More]

Found one new image from a Pre Oscar Party February 21st. Fliming of the Road began on the 27th. According to SMH.COM.AU "Catherine Zeta-Jones, Guy's Death Defying Acts costar, will be travelling to Sydney for the launch of Death Defying Acts, which also stars Guy Pearce. Guy will not be at the event because of filming commitments elsewhere." Which of course is because he's busy filming the Road....with Viggo. Did I mention that I love Viggo? :)

The IMDB is listing Kevin Approaches once again on Guy's page as a rumored project for 2009. If this is the case it will reunite him with his Ravenous co-star Robert Carlyle. Which again would make this webmistress a very happy camper!

Extras sought for post-apocalpyse film
Out of shape? Skinny? Emaciated, even? Hollywood wants you. Actually, local casting agent Nancy Mosser is looking for skinny, grungy actors and extras to appear in "The Road," a major feature film that begins shooting in the Pittsburgh area later this month. Eight local speaking roles and 30 extra roles are available for men and women from ages 18 to 50. The film is set in a scorched post-apocalpyptic America where most of humanity and nearly all other life has been burnt to ashes by an unspecified cataclysm.

The few surviving humans are either barbaric cannibals or their pathetic victims, so producers are looking for wiry men and women with minimal muscle tone, long stringy hair and a starved, ravaged appearance. For men, the ability to grow a full beard is a bonus. For one particularly gruesome scene, producers are looking for a thin man of any ethnicity who is missing one or both legs. No previous acting experience is needed for this role. The film adaptation of Cormac McCarthy's Pulitzer Prize-winning novel stars Viggo Mortenson, Charlize Theron, Guy Pearce and Kodi Smit-McPhee. Another film version of a McCarthy novel, "No Country For Old Men," was released last year and has received several Oscar nominations . Details: 412-434 -1666

Along with my follow fansite webmasters and mistresses, I would like to express my deep sorrow and shock at the sudden death of Aussie actor Heath Ledger who was found dead yesterday in his NYC apartment.
The world has lost an incredible talent and a daughter has lost her father. My heart goes out to his family and friends.

Guy has issued a statement (the news agencies had the quotes split on different reports so please forgive me if it's not in correct order) and thanks to my dear friend Jess for helping me find the rest of the quote.

"To a friend I never got to meet…..Mate, I had such admiration for you. Your dignity, humility, grace and talent will always be an inspiration to me. You shook the world and made us take notice. My heart goes out to you, your friends and your family, especially little Matilda Rose.
Heath, I heard nothing but delightful praise for you, and so even though I never knew you today is a very sad day, May your spirit live on to affect all those who hear about you and see your great work."

Pearce said in a joint statement with his wife, Kate.
